I am Rauf Asgarov, a tattoo artist. I work successfully across several tattoo styles, with my main portfolio focusing on Cover Up, Opaque Gray Realism, B&G Realism, and Pop Realism. My primary specialization, and the style I am most sought after for, is Cover Up tattooing. I specialize in transforming existing or unsuccessful tattoos into new, well-designed compositions through carefully planned cover-up work.
Alongside developing my own career as a tattoo artist, I place strong importance on sharing my knowledge and experience with other artists and contributing to their professional development. Through my academy, I provide online seminars and educational programs covering the essential foundations of professional tattooing. My courses focus not only on tattoo techniques, but on developing a complete understanding of tattooing as an art and profession. The curriculum covers human and body anatomy, creating designs that follow the natural anatomy and movement of the body, tattoo techniques, Color and Opaque Gray techniques, tattoo aftercare, and professional photography and video production for building a strong tattoo portfolio. It also includes the medical aspects of tattooing and other essential elements of maintaining a professional workflow. In addition to my online education programs, I conduct seminars focused on my own areas of expertise, helping artists improve their technical skills, artistic understanding, and individual approach. I believe that proper mentorship and learning from the right professionals are among the most important factors in an artist's development. My goal is not only to share my experience, but to help tattoo artists build strong fundamentals, develop their technical and artistic thinking, and ultimately establish their own professional identity and style.
